Rodney Evans

Rodney is a partner at The Ready and a pioneer in adaptive organization design and the future of work. With 20 years’ experience in all things transformation, she’s researched, developed, and taught new ways of working in dozens of complex environments, helping clients like Airbnb, Macy’s, GE, Intuit, and Charter Communications unleash talent and modernize traditional workplaces and practices. Beyond consulting, Rodney regularly speaks about such topics as cultivating self-awareness, creating a team of teams, designing for self-management, and navigating a working world designed by and for men. She believes the future of work is now and that new approaches to old problems are key to our survival as a species.

Sam Spurlin

Sam is a partner and first employee at The Ready. Over the past eight years he has partnered with and advised numerous organizations on their journey toward more people positive, complexity conscious, and effective ways of working. He has worked with senior leadership teams from GE, FreshDirect, Pacific Gas & Electric, MITRE, Ritual, and others. Prior joining The Ready he consulted with David Allen on the updated edition of his bestselling book, Getting Things Done, and published with Dr. Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi on the future of work and positive psychology. His general interests can best be described as the intersection of personal development and organizational design. A lifelong hockey player, he recently hung up his skates in favor of goggles, a bike, and running shoes. He lives in Haverstraw, New York with his wife.
